Hello! I teach instrumental music at The Skokie School and The Carleton Washburne School. I live in Chicago with my partner, Liliana, and our two cats, Tina and Jerry. My original home town is Schaumburg, Illinois. My teaching experiences began by long-term substitute teaching 6-8th Band and Orchestra at Edgewood Middle School in Highland Park, and prior to coming to District #36, I created and taught a technology-intensive K-4th Modern Music curriculum, 5-8th Band, and other middle school electives such as The History of Hip-Hop, Ukulele, and Improvisation Ensemble at a non-profit charter school called CICS West Belden located in Chicago’s Belmont Cragin neighborhood. I studied at DePaul University School of Music, Bachelor of Music in Education (2018).
